Hybrid systems are solar systems with both grid tied architecture and a battery backup for emergencies. The system uses grid interaction for synchronizing solar power with grid and battery backup to supply power to the loads when the grid supply is out.
The hybrid systems are proposed for loads with weak electricity supply and round the clock demand for supply for critical loads. The Load calculations become very important for such a system to design the required battery size and inverter rating.
